Options -> Live Tracking -> Use TCP for login

This option is used to make sure that the username and password are send to server.
otherwise there is a small possibility that the username/password will never reach the server so
the live track will be displayed at the server under the username 'guest'.

NOTES:

  1. This option will use an extra 250 bytes of GRPS traffic.
  2. The possibility of lost username/password with this option turned off is really small (1%).
  3. Currently it is adviced to leave this option 'OFF' because of testing reasons

Options -> Log -> Log NMEA

When turned ON the program stores all the data it receives from the
GPS (the data are commonly refefred to as NMEA sentenses). That data can then later be exported from the 'view log'
menu to a file for futher analisis and debugging.

NOTES:

  1. This option will consume a great ammount of memory of your mobile phone and may cause the program to crash and stop working.
  2. The data collected are stored in the memory and are deleted when the user exits the program.
Therefore the user must export the data before he exits the program.
  3. It is adviced to leave it turned OFF when operation of live tracking is critical.

Questions and Answers

Q: the "More->View Log" is not working, it returns me back to the main menu.
A: Most probably you have enabled a full logging which can result in very big log files.
The only solution is to fully unistall the program and reintall it again. Dont forget to re-enter your username and password.
NOTES:
1. When you enable a logging level >= "ERROR" the recomended action is to "View Log" -> "Export" after
each flight and then"View Log" -> "Delete Log".

Q: Where are the log files and tracklogs stored inside my phone before i export them to an IGC or KML or LOG file ?
A: They are stored in a special protected area of the device's memory where you dont have access with normal file browsers.
The only way to view them is by exporting them.
