Edessa Gliding Club with the support of the Cultural Association of Promachi organizes five-day (with the training day) duration competitions and invite all Paragliding pilots and Clubs to join it.

The competition area is the valley of Almopia, is a really great place for XC paragliding competitions

The copmetitions will be contucted according to the FAI rules

Athletes need to have:

- Valid FAI sporting license or IPPI card level 4/5 or national license parapro 4/5

- Third party liability insurance covering paragliding

- Unmodified and certified helmet (EN 966), harness (EN 1651), and paraglider (EN 926/2), rescue parachute, VHF radio & mobile phone.

- 2m Radio and live tracking device or smart mobile phone with internet conections.

- It is the Pilot's responsibility to ensure that their tracklogs are submitted to LiveTrack24.com. Instruments/Trackers/Smartphones should be configured to transmit to LiveTrack24.com

Selection and entry fee

Selection

The Selection will be based on a first paid first confirmed.

Those pilots who have paid for the postponed PROMACHIA 2020 will have priority for their participation, but must register in time, the rest of their payment will be paid to HQ

They also hold 18 places for the first non-Greek pilots who will pay the entry fee before 15/6/2021. (This is FAI rules for Cat2 Competitions)

- 5 more places is holds for the Competitions Organizing
