Info about Flying here

Lake Keepit Soaring Club is is one of Australia's best known places for cross country soaring and it's a 7 day a week operation, running all year round.

We're situated at the edge of the Lake Keepit State Park, some 5 hours north-west of Sydney in what is known as the North West Slopes and Plains, about midway between Tamworth and Gunnedah. LKSC is a club… meaning that costs are kept to a minimum.

The surrounding region is a mix of farmland, scrub, timbered ridges and mountains with big thermals, some ridge and wave lift,  so it is an varied and interesting place to fly.

This website is a place for LKSC members and visitors wanting to find out what's on, what's been happening, or to know more about the club, and discover the options for flying and training.
