Enabling Access Permission On Sony Ericssion Nokia S60 And Nokia S40 Phones

Are you getting asked for permsission each time the program sends data to the server ? After installing the program on your phone you may need to enable the access permissions to enable the application to access the phone file system and the internet. How this is done depends on your Mobile Phone.

How To Enable Access Permissions On Your Phone:

Sony Ericsson phones

  1. Go to either Applications or Games (depending on where you installed the application).
  2. Highlight the application, but instead of opening it, press More > Permissions.
  3. Select 'Internet Access' and set the access permissions to 'Never Ask'.
  4. Select 'Read User Data' and set the access permissions to 'Never Ask'.
  5. Select 'Write User Data' and set the access permissions to 'Never Ask'.
  6. If you don't have the option to set these to 'Never Ask', you can set the permissions to 'Ask once'

Nokia Series 60 phones

  1. Go to Tools > Manager and select the application.
  2. Select Options > Suite settings.
  3. Select 'Internet Access' and set the access permissions to 'Never Ask'
  4. Select 'Read User Data' and set the access permissions to 'Never Ask'
  5. Select 'Write User Data' and set the access permissions to 'Never Ask'
  6. If you don't have the option to set these to 'Never Ask', you can set the permissions to 'Session'.

Nokia Series 40 phones

  1. Go to either Collections or Games (depending on where you installed the application).
  2. Highlight the application, but instead of opening it, press Options > Application Access.
  3. Select 'Internet Access' and set the access permissions to 'Never Ask'.
  4. Select 'Read User Data' and set the access permissions to 'Never Ask'.
  5. Select 'Add and Edit Data' and set the access permissions to 'Never Ask'.
  6. If you don't have the option to set these to 'Never Ask', you can set the permissions to 'Session'

Note: In most cases you can't set permissions to 'Never Ask'. In these cases you can set the permissions to 'Session'. 'Session' means that you are asked only the first time the program sends data to the server.
