Inter Service Paragliding Championships 2020 postponed due to COVID-19 Pandemic. - 2020-05-24 16:47

The 2020 Inter Service Paragliding Championships have been postponed until further notice due to the ongoing impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic across the UK.  With many Service personnel directly involved with supporting the UK Government's efforts to tackle the virus and the restrictions that are in place to mitigate its effects, it is not appropriate for sporting events such as inter service championships to be undertaken.

At this stage although it is highly unlikely that the Championships will take place this year, it is hoped that a friendly 'fly in' event will be based out of the Joint Services Centre near Crickhowell in the late Summer or early Autumn,subject to approval from single Service sporting authorities.
