XC 160km

It is the season of big flights, but to do that you need the right instructions, my friends from Israel flew again this year many times for more than 100km, in different directions, (maximum 145km Straight line ).

Local Rules
Pilot need to have:
- License parapro 3,4 or 5
- Third party liability insurance covering paragliding
- Certified helmet, harness, paraglider and rescue parachute, radio & mobile phone.
- Live tracking device or smart mobile phone.
Info about Flying here
We flying all year round from many beautiful takeoffs, wintertime soaring at the Lake Vegoritida and smalls XC 40-50km in the valley of Almopia, all year is possible one unique local urban flight over the city of Edessa, May up to Okt is time for longer XC distances with sometimes landing on the sea beach
Depending on the weather and the type of flight we want we have to choose between several take-offs in our area, some of them are the following
"Promachi" - "Edessa" - "Kerasies" - "Nimfaio"
