.Event info
The official Aero tow contest in the Netherlands, which is part of the Dutch Nationals. Dutch
participants will have priority in selection for this aero towing event
at the beautiful aero club Salland. Foreign pilots can also register, but
please contact the organisation after registering for further
detail.
Local Rules
GAP2016 will be used for the scoring.
The parameters will be as follows:
Nominal Launch: 96%
Nominal Distance: 45 kmMinimum Distance: 10 km
Nominal Goal: 20%
Nominal Time: 1.25 hour
Use of GPS-livetrackers (Flymaster tracker) is mandatory.
The trackers are included and will be handed out at the launch site.
The tracklogs of the flights are primary evaluated through the livetrackers. Only if this data is insufficient, alternatively the records of other GPS-devices (must include altitude) will be evaluated. (Cables for download to be brought by the pilots, back up-devices are strongly recommended).

Airspace
Every participant that will fly at the aero club Salland has to familiarize him/herself with the local airspace and the airspace on the flying route. The task commitee will usually highlight any areas where to take extra care
How to get here
Accommodation
On the premises of the aero club Salland there is a camping that can be used. The prices for overnight stay can be found here.
Selection and entry fee
A B3 license or equivalent (i.e. IPPI 5) with aero towing endorsement is required to participate in the competition. Furthermore, skids or wheels are required to be fitted on the hang glider.

The entry fee will be €110,- when payed before the 1st of May.
The entry fee will be €130,- when payed after that.This includes the use of GPS-livetrackers.
Guests
For safety, guests unfamiliar with the field need to inquire at the restaurant how to proceed to the hang gliding starting area. Only with explicit permission is it allowed to drive with your car onto the field.
Voor de veiligheid dienen gasten die nog niet eerder op het veld zijn geweest zich te melden bij de receptie voor uitleg hoe bij de startende deltavliegers te komen. Uitsluitend na expliciete toestemming is het toegestaan met de auto het veld op te rijden.
