The XC seminar is organized in cooperation with Moselglider Paragliding School from Germany.
Simon is one of Germany’s best competition pilots, paragliding instructor and experienced XC pilot.
Normally top competition pilots need to fly with high risks for to be sucessful. But Simon considers his decisions in a calm way and waits patiently for his chances to be on the top without taking risks. These characteristics are the perfect base for the pilots in a XC seminar with Simon, so that they can fly further with fun and safety.
The main take-off for the XC seminar is located on the western side of Mount Olympus, on top of the village Kalivia. It is called Tourtofolia and provides take-off directions towards west, south and east at a height of 1.250 m. Several paragliding and hanggliding competitions up to world cup level have been organized here already.
Alternative take-offs nearby are KEOAX, Elassona, Kalipefki.
