PROMACHIA XC OPEN 2020 - FAI cat2

Mount Voras
Promachi, Almopia, Pella, Macedonia, Greece, 8 to 12 April 2020

Edessa Gliding Club with the support of the Cultural Association of Promachi organizes five-day (with the training day) duration competitions and invite all Paragliding pilots and Clubs to join it.

The competition area is the valley of Almopia, is a really great place for XC paragliding competitions

The copmetitions will be contucted according to the FAI rules

Athletes need to have:

- Valid FAI sporting license or IPPI card level 4/5 or national license parapro 4/5

- Third party liability insurance covering paragliding

- Unmodified and certified helmet (EN 966), harness (EN 1651), and paraglider (EN 926/2), rescue parachute, VHF radio & mobile phone.

- 2m Radio and live tracking device or smart mobile phone with internet conections.

- It is the Pilot's responsibility to ensure that their tracklogs are submitted to LiveTrack24.com. Instruments/Trackers/Smartphones should be configured to transmit to LiveTrack24.com

Selection

The Selection will be based on a first paid, first confirmed.

They also hold 20 places for the first non-Greek pilots who will pay the entry fee before 28/3/2020. (This is FAI rules for Cat2 Competitions)

- 5 more places is holds for the Competitions Organizing
