The weatherforecast for the weekend is not really good. It does not look like we might have a task. Therefor the competition is cancelled. Hope to see you next year.

We have a lot of labil air around Petzen with every day local rainshowers in the afternoon. It is difficult to predict place and intensity of the rain.
At the moment forecast for the weekend shows flyable on saturday, not flyable on sunday. The final decision will be made latest on friday 2016-06-10 13:00.

Airspace

On the competition days we will have special permission to use part of the airspace LOWK1 from airport Klagenfurt, where usually a uper limit of 4500ft is active. The maps show the available airspace with a maximum height of 9500ft (ca. 2800m MSL)

Area Info & Activities

City: Bleiburg - 5 km away you find Bleiburg, a mixture of history, tradition and cultur. Klagenfurt. Klagenfurt - 35 km away, the capitol of Carinthia is situated on the Wörther See. You find there many museums, theater, special locations like Minimundus, reptile zoo......

County: historical area in the south of Carinthia is Hemmaberg (5km away) with the Rosaliengrotte; a cave that is said to have miracle healing power ...

Mountain: The local mountain "Petzen" (2114m) forms a mountain-surrounding for your holyday at the Pirkdorfer See. A cablecar brings to 1700m height. There you find a beatuifull landscape and marked hiking trails.

Lake: The lake area in the south of Carinthia offers the 6 most warm lakes of Austria in a range of 20km around Petzen for short trips

Off course ... Carinthia is the most south state of Austria. Between Großglockner (3798m) and the Karawanken on the south border variety and diversity is granted by the mountains, hills, valeys and off course the famous Carinthian lakes.

Please download your waypoints via "Pilot List",  and check the button near your registration. This file also includes your Civl-Id and Comp-Id.

Selection and entry fee

Mandatory registration via livetrack24 latest until Saturday 11.6.2016, 08:00 a.m.,
50 ,-- EUR, payment cash at competition office

includes transport to takeoff on all days and retrieve from main roads to the headquarter.
Newcomer-class (Austrian  Liga): 30,- EUR, payment cash at the competition office

late registrations on site (not registered via livetrack24 until Saturday 8:00 a.m. angemeldet): additional fee € 10,-

In case of cancelation of a task € 10,- will be refunded to present pilots after price giving ceremony
