Competition rules in this order:
1. Invitation / notice at headquarter
2. Austrian Aero Club, Section Para and Hang Gliding in the respective applicable version.
3. FAI Section 7
The local regulations of the Austrian Aeroclub, the FAI sporting code and the local flight regulations must be accepted.
Participation requirements:
- valid pilot license
- valid FAI Sportlicence
- third party liability insurance (€ 1.500.000,-) valid in Austria*
- certified glider (EN-A - CCC)
- GPS-device for scoring
- certified helmet
- certified harness
- certified rescue parachute
- Mobilphone with mobile data connection and WhatsApp**
* If you need a third party liability insurance, you can make a contract on Day 1 of the competition. Please inform the organizer in advance.
** WhatsApp is mandatory, and will be used as communication tool between organizer and pilots during the competition. In case of emergancy the mobile phone number will be used. Please make sure that you have a mobile number, which is active in Austria.

The Online registration is open until June 15th, 2022.
the selection process will start on February 15th, 2022. Selected pilots will receive an e-mail with competition update and payment instructions for Entry Fee.
The Entry Fee should be deposited shortly after receiving the payment instructions.
Please pay to tollowing bank account: FSC Ikarus Abtenau, IBAN: AT70 3500 1000 0004 3570. Not selected pilots will move to the waiting list.
The pilots who are not selected will be moved to the waiting list.
Documentation:
Documentation only with GPS-Tracklog or Flymaster - Tracker.
Upload by Participant:
Free WLAN at the headquarter - send us your tracklog with e-mail or upload it to our server.
Protests:
Protests may be made 30 minutes after the end of official competition scoring in written form. A protest fee of € 50 must be paid immediately.

Camping:
There will be a separate parking for campers (and tents) at the bottom station of the mountain railways. They offer power (bring your own cables) and sanitary facilities. You might have to pay some small amount to the landowner for the power.
Please do not use any other parking area for camping!

Selection and entry fee
The selection is in accordance with the rules of FAI - Section 7. The organizing country is Iceland. The other Nordic countries are considered “other nations” under the Section 7 rules. This implies that if all positions of the competition are filled with Nordic pilots, the Section 7 rules will be upheld. There is no other quota for other nationalities outside of the Nordic Countries.
Selection process:
February 15th - February 28th, 2022:
Each Nordic country will have 28 spots (23 male, 5 female) based on CIVL WPRS ranking dated February 1st. If less than 5 females per Nordic country sign-up, the rest of the female spots will be allocated to males (up to a total of 28 spots) per Nordic country.
March1st - March 31st, 2022:
Free spots are continuously allocated to Nordic pilots exclusively by CIVL WPRS ranking dated February 1st 2022. If the selection reaches down to pilots with 0 ranking, further selection will be based on registration time stamp.
April 1st onwards:
Registration is open to all pilots. Selection is based on the CIVL WPRS ranking dated March 1st, 2022.
Wild Cards: Local organizers preserve the right to allocate 4 Wild Cards after April 1st, 2022, outside of the CIVL WPRS ranking dated March 1st, 2022.

Entry Fee:
€ 280,- by money transfer (if selected - see “Selection”)
The Entry Fee has to be paid as soon as you receive the e-mail with payment instructions from the organizer. (see “Selection”).
The organizer will not refund the Entry Fee of the pilots who will be absent (No-show).
