Event info

This is a FAI cat.2 event. AOK is the most active Paragliding Club in Greece and we have the pleasure to organize this event as a leg of the Greek League for 2018.

All participants have to carry a valid FAI competition license for 2018 and insurance for civil liability and personal accidents (including repatriation).

In case of adverse weather conditions, the reserve dates are 8-9/9/2018 (ie, one week later).

Info about Flying here

Kitheron is the most popular paragliding site in Greece. The take off altitude is at 630 meters, the landing site is at 300 meters and the mountain's top is at 1450 meters. It is an easy to fly site without surprises (except for the occasional wind gradient with north winds), this place is suitable for all levels of pilots.

Selection and entry fee

Competition fee: 60€

The entry fee covers the following:
Transportation to the Takeoff and Retrieve
IT support and waypoints transfer
Lunchpack
Map and other informative material
Access to the camping site
Official dinner

Guests

Guests can also be registered for a fee of 50 euros. They will have the same  as privileges as the competition participants but they will not be able to fly the main task. An unofficial task will be arranged for any guest that will be interested in. The guests have to provide evidence of a license of  Parapro level 3 or higher.
