Info about Flying here

Tourtofolia Take off (40°01'25.71"B- 22°16'40.66"E , 1230μ.) at Kalyvia Elassonas

Situated opposite of a beautiful valley, it is very sloping and easily accommodates eight developed parachutes. It flies with SW West - NW winds from spring to autumn. The flight can be a local full of view or a long X/C flight, with very organized thermals  along the long ridge, with fantastic views! Ideal place for long distance flights and of course for paragliding and Hangliding comps  and plenty of them had been held at the area at the past as well!

Every year, thousands of visitors admire its fauna and flora, tour its slopes, and climb its peaks. Organized mountain refuges and various mountaineering and climbing routes are available.
